Ashley Addiction Treatment, located in Havre de Grace, Md., offers both residential and outpatient care as well as medically-managed detox treatment to adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Dedicated programming for young adults aged 18 to 25 includes activities designed to support independent living, along with the modalities listed above, in a 90-day young-adult extended care program. IOP includes optional outpatient detox, group therapy four times a week, supplementary individual therapy, and holistic activities such as acupuncture and meditation.

The treatment team at Ashley Addiction Treatment team includes board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and master’s level counselors. The facility is one of only 76 facilities (18.9 percent) in Maryland to be accredited by the Joint Commission.

Ashley Addiction Treatment’s campus is set on 147 acres in the Chesapeake Bay in northeastern Maryland. Residents sleep in stylish private or semi-private rooms and enjoy a laundry service and housekeeping staff. There’s also a fitness center on-site, as well as basketball and volleyball courts, yoga rooms, and walking and jogging trails outdoors. Meals are prepared by a chef and designed by a staff dietitian, and special diets can be accommodated.

Two alumni polled by Best-rehabs.com as of this date gave positive reviews. “Counseling was good,”an anonymous alum wrote. Both reviewers indicated that they would recommend Ashley Addiction Treatment and gave high marks to their treatment effectiveness and counseling options, in particular.

On Google, the facility received an average 4.1 out of five star rating based on 34 reviews.[1] In a representative review, alum Tania wrote: “The campus is absolutely beautiful…the staff are so passionate about what they do…the attention to detail and how well they take care of their spaces is evident.”
