ABOUT SPECTRUM HEALTH SYSTEMS – PROJECT TURNABOUT
Adjacent to the South Shore hospital in Weymouth, Mass., about 20 minutes south of Boston, is Spectrum Health Services’ Project Turnabout, a 30-bed residential substance abuse treatment program for men. The program offers detoxification, stabilization services, and structured residential treatment.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Following their initial detoxification from opiates or alcohol, men may enter the residential phase of treatment: a structured, weekly schedule of individual, group, and family counseling, relapse prevention training, and recreational activities. Length of stay varies according to need.
As they prepare for life after rehabilitation, men may also receive a comprehensive continuing care plan to help them stay focused on their goals and motivated in the early stages of recovery.
