ABOUT DAYMARK RECOVERY SERVICES

Daymark Recovery Services, headquartered in Salisbury, N.C., is a non-profit organization that offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare services across a number of facilities. Among the 40 percent of non-profits in the state, Daymark Recovery treats patients with substance abuse issues and those with co-occurring mental health disorders.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Daymark offers a 24-Hour Crisis Hotline for immediate access to a clinician. For first-time patients, there are walk-in services, but there may be a wait time. Appointments are available as well. Upon admission clients will receive a comprehensive assessment in order to determine their individualized treatment needs. Crisis planning is also available.

The center offers individual, group, and family therapy. The staff utilizes evidence-based and culturally-affirmative mental health and substance abuse services to treat patients.

Daymark specializes in psychiatric services and Medical Services, psychological assessment emergency services, mobile crisis management, and DWI/DWLR services. It is one of 144 treatment facilities in North Carolina that offer specialized services for DUI, DWI, of DWLR clients.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The staff at Daymark consists of a clinical team of medical doctors, therapists, and psychologists, and support staff.

There are presently no details on the facility’s website regarding its accommodations and amenities. Daymark operates almost three-dozen facilities throughout the state of North Carolina.

To date, a sole loved one gave high marks to the agency, rating a five stars for overall treatment. He or she praised the treatment and said they would recommend the services to others. The loved one simply wrote, “Very pleased.”

WHAT STAFF SAY

One Glassdoor, 29 employees gave the Daymark 3.2 stars.[1] Sixty percent said they would recommend working there to others.

“Great benefits, hour for lunch, team player atmosphere. Extremely busy, fast pace environment and the days go by quite fast,” wrote one employee. Another, less positive reviewer wrote, “Never any raises EVER.” Salary was the most common complaint on this site.

FINANCING

Daymark accepts most major forms of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. It is among the 42 percent of North Carolina facilities that accept Medicare, and among the 65 percent of North Carolina facilities that accept Medicaid. Individuals who are uninsured are eligible for sliding scale payment plans.
