ABOUT THERÁPIA ADDICTION HEALING CENTER
Located in St. George, Utah, the Therápia Addiction Healing Center provides gender-specific residential treatment for substance abuse and dual diagnosis. Medical detox is not available on-site. However, the program requires clients to undergo at least 72 hours of medical detox before admission.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment starts with a free assessment to determine the appropriate level of treatment, eligibility, and a customized treatment program. The facility operates separate men’s and women’s treatment programs.
Each week, clients participate in 20 to 30 hours of treatment programming. Treatment is largely 12-step based, with regular group meetings. Additionally, clients participate in individual, group, and family therapy, equine therapy, and experiential therapy.
The program prioritizes holistic treatment efforts. As a result, each client receives a customized meal and fitness plan based on their abilities.
After the successful completion of the program, clients are eligible for free assessments and access to retake the treatment program in the event of a relapse.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The treatment team includes substance abuse counselors, an equine specialist, psychiatrists, addictionologists, a chef, a nutritionist, and clinical therapists.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The women’s program takes place in a Greek-inspired home that features an indoor pool, sun deck, weight room, yoga studio, and a back patio where group meetings are held. Residents live in semi-private rooms with a desk, bed, and dresser.
The men’s program takes place in a large home. Residents live in semi-private furnished rooms and have access to common areas. Some of its amenities include an indoor pool, sun deck, gymnasium, and weight room. A separate meeting room is available for meetings with clinical staff.

At the time of this writing, Best-rehabs.com has only received one alumni review for this facility, which was mostly positive. The alum gave the facility four out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, and meals and nutrition.
On Therápia Addiction Healing Center’s Facebook page, which the facility can manage, the center earned 4.7 out of five stars from 40 reviews to date. Many alumni credited the program with saving their lives. In a representative review, alum Ashley wrote: “Therapia saved my life, no it wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t fun. It isn’t supposed to be, but life isn’t easy, and being an addict isnt fun. But I wouldn’t change the time I spent there, for the world! They know what they are doing, the staff understand what you’re going thru and they genuinely care about every single person that walks thru those doors!”
