We are a women’s only residential treatment center that was designed to be a home away from home for women working through their addictions. We take a holistic approach to treatment and believe that in order for women to begin the process of recovery they must first restore balance to their lives, and heal from the various traumas that they have experienced. Our program provides a safe and intimate atmosphere where women can come and begin the process of healing from their addictions and stabilizing their mental health. Our treatment is comprised of individual, family, and group therapy and we utilize several evidenced based therapy models including experiential therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, 12 step, and seeking safety.
ABOUT RENEW WELLNESS & RECOVERY
Located in Sandy, Utah, Renew Wellness & Recovery is a private facility, which make up about 62 percent of all treatment facilities in Utah; it is one of the 70 (30 percent) of Utah facilities that offers residential treatment services. This treatment center also offers day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient services to women who are struggling with substance abuse, depressions, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to Renew Wellness & Recovery’s website, clients stay in residential programs for 30 to 90 days. Each women receives individualized treatment plans that address the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of life.
The goal of treatment is to help clients develop self-awareness, effective coping skills, and resolving past traumas. Programming includes medication management, three individual therapy sessions each week, and two family therapy sessions a month. Weekly family group is also available.
Services also include evidence based practices, neurofeedback, expressive therapies, mindfulness, daily psych educational groups, daily fitness, nutritional coaching, and assessments. The staff will help clients’ identify and recognize emotional triggers, develop emotional regulation skills, develop boundaries, and create skills to establish and repair relationships.
The staff will help individuals resolve past traumas through eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), experiential therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy interventions. Clients participate in daily exercise to build strength and remove toxins.

FINANCING
