ABOUT DYNAMIC LIVING COUNSELING

Headquartered in Phoenix, and operating four additional locations throughout Arizona, Dynamic Living Counseling is a state-licensed facility that provides outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adults struggling with substance use. In addition to substance use treatment, the center also provides services that address domestic violence, anger management, and ethics.

Treatment is provided at varying levels of intensity, and many programs contain education for clients with a DUI or other drug-related offenses. It is one of 103 programs in Arizona that caters to DUI/DWI clients.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Dynamic Living Counseling offers DUI screenings and various evaluations and assessments. Programming options cover both educational and treatment-related needs. Educational programs are typically less time-intensive, and many fulfill court-ordered DUI treatment requirements. These offerings, which may consist of 16 or more hours of class time, are designed to educate clients about the personal and social effects of substance use.

Dynamic Living also offers several substance use treatment programs that incorporate educational content in addition to group counseling sessions. The lowest intensity of treatment is the Level I Substance Abuse Treatment program, which includes 10 to 20 group counseling sessions. Clients who require additional treatment may opt for the intensive outpatient program (IOP), which includes 56 to 100-plus hours of programming, including bi-weekly, two-hour group counseling sessions.

A relapse prevention and aftercare program are also offered, requiring a minimum of 10 weekly, two-hour group counseling sessions on topics such as coping skills, identifying triggers, grief and loss, and goal setting.
