ABOUT REHOBOTH MCKINLEY CHRISTIAN HEALTH CARE SERVICES

The Behavioral Health Services (BHS) unit at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) in Gallup, N.M. provides inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults. Transitional housing is also offered.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

All clients are assessed upon admission to determine the appropriate course of care. Inpatient addiction recovery services typically last 90 days and are rooted in 12-step based programming. Clients will participate in educational opportunities, relapse prevention, anger management workshops, and a work rehabilitation program. Graduates of the program may participate in transitional housing in a drug-free environment for four months.

Outpatient mental health services are available for children ages six and up. Treatment includes individual, family, and couples counseling and medication monitors and evaluations. Treatment is provided by licensed clinicians and the emergency department is on-call for behavioral health consultations.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The behavioral health treatment team includes registered nurses, case managers, intake coordinators, eight behavioral health technicians, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, and a clinical director.
