Capstone Treatment Center is a faith-based drug and alcohol rehab for adolescent and young adult males. The residential rehab treats drug addiction, alcohol abuse, sex addiction, trauma, and other behavioral health issues with a Christian-centric approach. Based in Searcy, Arkansas, Capstone aims to treat each client’s addiction, as well as the underlying psychological, emotional, relational, and spiritual problems that contribute to substance abuse.
ABOUT CAPSTONE TREATMENT CENTER
Capstone Treatment Center offers Christian faith-based residential addiction treatment for males ages 13 to 25 in a remote, rural facility six miles northwest of Searcy, Ark. The center treats a wide variety of substance abuse problems, as well as other addictions including sex, pornography, and video games. The facility also provides treatment for co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety, depression and PTSD.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The founder of Capstone has developed his own treatment method known as The Core Model. This multidisciplinary approach targets anything that hampers intimacy with the self, God, and loved ones. Medical detox is not available on-site. Treatment lasts approximately 90 days and combines 12-step work with individual therapy, family therapy, and addiction education.
Capstone features a very distinctive canine therapy program. At the beginning of treatment, every resident receives a puppy to care for, which they take home with them upon successful completion of the program.
There is a family week once per month, during which parents participate in an intense week of therapy and connection with other parents.
In the second half of treatment, residents assemble a “Weekly Game Plan Booklet” that outlines personalized strategies for maintaining sobriety after graduation. Before graduation, there is an additional family retreat with a special focus on siblings.
At the end of treatment, clients continue to receive aftercare services in the form of weekly counseling sessions.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Capstone’s treatment team includes Master’s degree and PhD-licensed professional counselors and therapists. There is also an on-site chef and nutrition consultant. All staff members practice Christianity.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Capstone’s main building, a 4,000-square-foot rock and cedar lodge, is in a secluded, wooded area. Residents are grouped by age and sleep in shared cabins that are monitored throughout the night. The cabins are equipped with front porches and private showers.
There’s also an on-site fitness room and a communal mess hall. Ropes courses and other outdoor activities make use of the surrounding wilderness. For younger clients, an education coordinator helps to facility coursework.

If a client leaves before treatment is complete, Capstone will provide a reimbursement at the daily rate, minus a $2,500 early withdrawal fee.
