Anaheim Lighthouse provides extensive residential and outpatient addiction treatment services for individuals struggling with drug or alcohol abuse. Our focus on clinical trauma care includes experimental trauma treatment for individuals with a history of abuse, PTSD, and other forms of emotional trauma. We offer one-on-one counseling, peer support, group therapy, medication-assisted residential detoxification, and outpatient services.
ABOUT ANAHEIM LIGHTHOUSE
Anaheim Lighthouse, located in Anaheim, Calif., outside of Los Angeles, offers a full range of treatment services for individuals with substance abuse, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma. Our services include medication-assisted detoxification, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We are one of only 15% of facilities in California that provides medical detox. We also offer supportive programming for family members.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Clients who begin their treatment with detoxification receive medically-assisted treatment in a homelike environment with 24-hour monitoring. After stabilization, clients may enter the residential program, which can last up to 90 days according to survey data submitted to Best-rehabs.com.
Our programming is rooted in 12-step principles and includes individual psychotherapy, group counseling, family therapy, process groups, and educational workshops.
Partial hospitalization is often used as a step-down option from residential care. It includes similar treatment modalities, but focuses on promoting self-reliance. Clients in the PHP spend six hours in treatment each day before returning home in the evening.
Intensive outpatient treatment is the next step before discharge. In this stage, clients are connected to sober support groups, employment opportunities, and community resources that aid in relapse prevention. IOP includes three hours of treatment each day.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Our staff, led by a supervising clinical psychologist, consists mostly of certified counselors or master’s-level therapists. Many staff members also have personal experience with recovery. The 21 individuals surveyed praised the facility for the staff’s level of experience and training.

Our residential facility, located in a residential area of Anaheim, resembles a campus. Clients share bedrooms and have access to a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and patio area. During their stay, clients may utilize a local gym and participate in meditation sessions and yoga classes.
