ABOUT NCAAD – WOMAN TO WOMEN RECOVERY PROGRAMS
Located in scenic Long Beach, Calif., Woman to Woman Recovery Programs is a nonprofit organization offering both residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults, as well as services for domestic violence victims. The treatment center also offers education and prevention groups specifically designed for adolescents.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to the facility’s website, The Woman to Woman Residential Substance Abuse Recovery Program offers residential substance abuse treatment for non-parenting women, parenting women, and their young children.
There are also Woman to Woman satellite homes that provide safe, homelike independent living for pregnant women, parenting women and their children, and non-parenting women while they participate the facility’s outpatient treatment and recovery programs.
Outpatient options include a General Relief Program and Perinatal Programs for drug-exposed children and infants.
The Day Care Rehabilitative Program is an extensive outpatient treatment for pregnant and parenting women. The Proposition 36 Program provides court-supervised treatment and probation for most non-violent drug offenders convicted of substance abuse offenses.

The two former clients polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided positive feedback for Woman to Woman Recovery Programs.
A.H. awarded the facility mostly four- and five- out of five stars across 15 different evaluated metrics, including treatment effectiveness, family participation, cleanliness, counseling options, 12-step facilitation, and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
The alum did stress the need for more counselors. “My experience with them was amazing I learned alot about my addiction, myself and prepared me for life after,” she wrote.
The other alum, who participated in the survey anonymously, praised the facility for allowing her to bring her daughter with her to treatment.
FINANCING
According to HealthGrove, the facility accepts Access to Recovery Vouchers and offers sliding scale fees to clients who qualify. To date, the only alum surveyed by Best-rehabs.com about the cost of treatment gave four out of five stars for affordability.
