ABOUT HER HOUSE WOMEN’S ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTER
Her House Women’s Treatment Center, formerly known as New Creations and located in Ranch Cucamonga, Calif., provides a range of substance abuse services specifically tailored for women. Alongside on-site detoxification, the center offers residential treatment, outpatient treatment, programs for individuals with co-occurring disorders or chronic pain, and a faith-based recovery track. An affiliated rehab for men, called His House, is located nearby.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to the center’s website, Her House utilizes medication to alleviate withdrawal symptoms during the detoxification process, while clients engage in educational workshops and counseling. Once stabilized, clients work with staff to develop a personalized treatment plan. Treatment duration varies, with the traditional residential program lasting four weeks.
Her House’s residential treatment consists of four phases and incorporates 12-step practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), associative awareness therapy (AAT), and other experiential therapies. In the intensive outpatient program (IOP), educational and group format sessions are available on a daily basis. Additional services at the facility include specialized dual diagnosis treatment, an evening family program, and continuing aftercare to ensure sobriety beyond treatment.
The facility welcomes individuals of all faiths, but also offers a Christian Track program that combines 12-step philosophies with on-site pastoral care, bible study, and regular church attendance.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The center maintains a staff-to-client ratio of 1:3. Staff members include drug and alcohol counselors, case managers, social workers, a psychiatrist, and pastors.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
As per the center’s website, residents live in one of four homelike facilities located in suburban neighborhoods. The facilities offer shared bedrooms, with private rooms available upon request. Clients also have access to fitness activities. Additional amenities such as physical trainers, massage therapists, acupuncture treatment, psychiatrists, physicians, and therapists are available for an additional fee.

The nearly two dozen alumni surveyed by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing expressed mixed reviews. Nineteen reviewers awarded a rating of 4.26 out of five stars for treatment effectiveness. One alum, Darla, gave her overall experience a four-star rating but expressed a desire for more individualized attention since the facility primarily focused on group treatment. Another alum mentioned inconsistencies between the facility’s marketing materials and actual offerings. However, they still gave a five-star rating, commending the facility for the care provided.
