The primary objective of Northbound Treatment Services is to assist each and every client in establishing a strong foundation for long-term recovery. Our residential rehab center focuses on bringing purpose, meaning, and respect to the lives of individuals who are newly sober by utilizing a range of biological, social, spiritual, and psychological interventions. Located in sunny Orange County, our facility offers clients a safe and serene environment, along with an exceptional staff-to-client ratio, to guide them towards a lifetime of sobriety.
ABOUT NORTHBOUND TREATMENT SERVICES
Northbound Treatment Services, located in and around Costa Mesa in southern California, operates eight facilities and provides a comprehensive continuum of care that includes detox, residential treatment, and outpatient care. Our dedicated detox unit, known as 180 House, offers psychiatric and psychological support on a daily basis.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
At Northbound, our treatment approach is long-term, with the ultimate goal of celebrating a year of continuous sobriety as clients progress through different levels of care. Following detox, clients have the option to continue their residential treatment in separated men’s and women’s treatment facilities or in a Christian residential treatment home. Treatment primarily revolves around individual therapy and case management, with additional components such as psychiatric evaluations, therapy models that allow for increasing freedom as clients progress, and a focus on physical exercise, education, and employment goals.
Evidence-based modalities like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychodrama are utilized in our programs. In addition, we offer outpatient options such as partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The PHP program requires at least 12 hours of participation over four days each week, while the minimum requirement for the IOP program is nine hours per week. Both day and evening programs are available.
