TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
At Sheer Recovery, we utilize pharmacogenomics, a field of medicine that screens an individual’s DNA to determine appropriate drug and dosing. Through this testing, each client receives a personalized treatment program and report with their genetic test results.
The first phase of treatment at Sheer Recovery is detox and residential stabilization. The treatment process begins with a toxicology report, followed by the development of a customized detox plan that usually lasts between five to 10 days. This phase addresses both physical and emotional withdrawal symptoms. Once detox is completed, clients engage in group work and receive support from case managers. The detox and residential process typically spans between seven to 30 days.
Phase two consists of partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) care. During this phase, clients attend outside 12-step meetings and receive life skills training such as resume building and aftercare planning. Clients also have the opportunity to meet with family and sponsors. The PHP and IOP phase usually lasts between 30 to 90 days.
The final phase, Phase Three, is outpatient programs. This phase is only recommended after completing at least 90 days of treatment. In outpatient treatment, individuals create discharge plans and gradually reintegrate into work, school, family, and other responsibilities. This phase typically extends between 90 to 180 days.
