ABOUT GATE LODGE AT ORIGINS
Origins Behavioral HealthCare operates several resort-style rehab facilities throughout Texas and Florida. Sharing a campus with the River Medical Center in the tropical Vero Beach, Fla., Gate Lodge at Origins provides 12-step based, gender-specific residential care, daily and evening outpatient groups, and detox services for adult men and women.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Traditional 12-step principles combined with contemporary addiction treatment modalities form the basis of Gate Lodge at Origins’ 28-day residential treatment curriculum. With programming designed to suit each client’s unique needs, the facility’s intimate setting also facilitates peer-backed support.
Programming is intended for a diverse clientaele. Some clients come here after having completed prior treatment elsewhere, while others are prone to relapse. Regardless, all are supported en route towards long-term recovery through psychoeducational lectures, 12-step meetings, individual counseling, and group therapy. Together, these offerings address addiction as well as highly sensitive issues such as grief and loss.
With sessions running Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, evening outpatient programming is also offered over the course of six weeks. For those looking to attend treatment on a more flexible basis, daily groups may be the way to go.
In its effort to support clients beyond their stays and into their communities, Origins provides a Monitoring and Accountability Program, “MAP,” a 15-month aftercare service that features 24-hour personal recovery support at no additional cost. There’s also an active alumni association, linking fellow alumni to one another through local and annual events.
