ABOUT THE GARDENS AT LAKE WORTH
Located in the community of Greenacres, Fla., eight miles southwest of West Palm Beach, The Gardens at Lake Worth provides a residential program, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for individuals struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. An aftercare program is available. The Gardens at Lake Worth also offers detoxification services on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Before admission, clients participate in an initial phone assessment to help clinicians determine if The Gardens is an appropriate treatment program. Once admitted, an in-person assessment may be conducted to help clinicians form an individualized plan of care. The Gardens’ treatment approach is comprised of evidence-based treatments enhanced by holistic treatment methods.
The Gardens’ programming consists of one-on-one, group, and family counseling sessions, as well as an introduction to the 12-Steps. The facility also offers program tracks that emphasize 12-step or a faith-based model of treatment. In addition, clients may participate in equine therapy, yoga, chiropractic care, and guided meditation sessions.
If a co-occurring disorder is identified during the initial assessment, The Gardens implements treatments that address the mental health issues contributing to addictive behaviors. Clients may undergo cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) sessions to address issues of trauma or depression, and the facility may utilize medication-assisted therapy.
As a client progresses in treatment, they may transition to less-intensive levels of care, such as aftercare treatment.
