TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to its website, PassageWays takes a multidisciplinary, 12-step based, and holistic approach to treatment and emphasizes medically assisted treatment. The center offers individualized outpatient recovery plans that are developed for each client based on an in-depth assessment. After initial three- to five-day stabilization at a hospital (if needed), clients enter an outpatient program, of which the primary method of treatment is individual counseling, group counseling, and community-based activities.
The PassageWays treatment team includes physicians, counselors, and clinical professionals. Its website states that staff “frequently collaborate with a patient’s other physicians, other treating experts, legal consultants or representatives, and/or family members if requested and authorized by the patient.”
