Within a holistic framework that views each client with consideration for underlying emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual issues to address, Auburn Counseling Associates offers treatment for a wide array of issues, including substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety, phobias, domestic violence, gambling addiction, eating disorders, trauma issues, everyday coping and stress management, and more.
Treatment modalities include individual and group therapy, marriage, couples, and family counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication or hospitalization if needed, and assistance with referrals for medical, legal, vocational, financial, educational, and spiritual services. The facility also offers activities such as play therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, addiction education, addiction disorders counseling, and nutritional, dietary, and wellness counseling. Antabuse treatment is available to help clients cope with alcohol cravings.
The treatment team includes a staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and a nurse.
