ABOUT RECOVERY HOUSE, INC.

Founded in 1985, Recovery House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing residential treatment to women struggling with substance use disorder. Located in Mississippi, the organization offers emergency shelter services for homeless women battling addiction, and runs an education and awareness program for the community.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Clients must have primary diagnosis of chemical dependency to be admitted to Recovery House, Inc. The program is 12-step based, lasts between 60 and 90 days, and is followed by transitional living and aftercare services.

Treatment includes individual counseling, group therapy, addiction education, life skills training, and case management services, along with 12-step meetings, special needs counseling, family therapy, and parenting skills workshops. Clients may also participate in GED courses and receive employment assistance and/or job skills training.
