Four Circles Recovery Center

ABOUT FOUR CIRCLES RECOVERY CENTER

Set within the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, 15 minutes outside of Asheville, N.C., Four Circles Recovery Center provides treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions through its wilderness-based program. Four Circles requires a minimum 42-day commitment for young adults ages 18 to 28. Detox is not available on-site.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Four Circles is rooted in 12-step programming and blends holistic and evidence-based therapies into gender-specific treatments. Length of stay depends on the individual, though the center requires a minimum of 42 days.

Individualized treatment incorporates individual, group, and family therapy, 12-step meetings, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and nutrition classes. Holistic therapies include meditation, martial arts, art therapy, yoga, and life skills training.

In line with the core belief that men and women respond differently to drugs and alcohol, programming at Four Circles is gender-specific. Accordingly, men’s and women’s living quarters, therapeutic services, and wilderness activities are all separate.

The center provides monthly two-day family workshops and weekly family therapy sessions over the phone.

The facility also offers a 21-day relapse prevention track for individuals who have relapsed after completing treatment at any rehab center within the past year.

Prior to leaving treatment, clients will complete a one-week healing ceremony and develop an aftercare plan and a relapse prevention plan.

Four Circles Recovery Center Reviews

Our son went into the center with the hope of overcoming his addiction. His experience and ours were less than expected. There was a 30 minute meeting but no orientation of expectations, goals etc. The amenities were that there were none. The counseling consisted of meeting with a "counselor"" one per week for approximately 30 minutes. This is basically a prolonged detox center. Ironically I just attended a program where a young lady spoke about her experience at Four Circles. She relapsed immediately after leaving the program due to receiving little counseling and a lot of walking. They are more interested in money for hikers and staff cost. Our son left the program and finally made the decision to stop using. We would not recommend this facility.
Majority of this is a complete lie.
