Alpine Springs Rehabilitation & Recovery

Alpine Springs Rehabilitation & Recovery Linesville Pennsylvania

At Alpine Springs Rehabilitation and Recovery, we believe that addiction is a pervasive and indiscriminate problem. It adheres to no boundaries and affects those of any age, race, nationality, religion, and socioeconomic status. As such, treatment for addiction should be equal as varied. We believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to addiction treatment. Treatment should be individualized and based on a thorough assessment of the individual’s background, family dynamics, a drug of choice, and motivation for change.
By using multiple treatment modalities, each person seeking treatment at our agency will receive a focused treatment plan that takes into account where they are at on a cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual level. This will determine which interventions are incorporated, and could include cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, 12-step programming, or non 12-step programming. We also believe in the importance of family engagement. When indicated, counselors will provide family therapy. Families are strongly encouraged to participate in Family Group once a week, and family therapy is available when appropriate.

Alpine Springs is an inpatient addiction treatment and detox center based in Linesville, Pa., a quiet, rural town of roughly 1,000 persons. The state-certified center makes use of various clinical, and holistic therapies in treating individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol abuse.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, either over the phone or in person, clients undergo a bio-psychosocial assessment with their primary counselor to develop a personalized treatment plan. The treatment process is made of four separate phases, from primary to discharge, each of which is tailored to meet a client’s unique needs.

While some individuals begin treatment immediately after their assessment, those in need of detox receive close monitoring from a medical professional. Ultimately, the goal is to “rid the individual off all risky substances and medications” by the conclusion of this initial phase. Beyond their time inside the facility, clients benefit from a range of holistic therapies like nutrition, fitness, and meditation.

According to its website, Alpine Springs is staffed 24 hours a day by bachelor’s and master’s level recovery specialists and nurses.

The program runs out of a historic building in a quiet, rural town that’s surrounded by hill and lake. Within proximity to a local reservoir and lake (and only about 30 minutes away from Lake Erie), clients have ample opportunity to go swimming, fishing, and boating as well as hiking and more traditional sports.

On-site are single, double, and triple bedrooms, laundry services, and space to store personal belongings. A professional chef prepares meals carefully and in accordance to clients’ nutrition plans. The center also provides transportation services up to 100 miles from Linesville.

  • If you plan on going to Alpine Springs based off of their website you will be disappointed; you'll likely be disappointed no matter what. You will not be going kayaking or hiking and there is no serene outdoors. What you will get is a mediocre building that's on its last leg in the center of a black top landscape, planted right next to a gas station. They boast individualized, holistic treatment but the people delivering the services are under-education and they push their own values onto their clients; all the while the staff is scrambling to fulfill their duties under inconsistent, vindictive management. The business is going under, which is evident in the over-processed diet they offer their clients, the lack of cleaning services, and their staff turn-over. Great treatment facilities to look into are Rock Creek and Gaiser Center.
