ABOUT BRADFORD HEALTH SERVICES – CLARKSVILLE

Offering a full continuum of addiction treatment, Bradford Health Services has been in operation for over 30 years. One of 29 facilities in the treatment network, the Clarksville, TN, location provides intensive outpatient and continuing care programs for adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse issues. Although the Clarksville location does not offer on-site detoxification services, the treatment network performs interventions and offers free treatment consultations.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Before beginning the intensive outpatient program, clients undergo an initial assessment to ensure the program can provide an appropriate level of care. Clients who require medical stabilization may be referred to an inpatient program within the network. The abstinence-based program is centered on 12-step practices and principles. Throughout treatment, clients attend regular 12-step meetings, participate in Big Book studies, and perform associated step work.

In addition to 12-step immersion, the intensive outpatient programs focus on relapse prevention through a schedule of educational classes and group counseling sessions. Clients attend these sessions multiple times each week. Although similar in design and purpose, the educational and counseling sessions incorporate age-relevant issues to tailor sessions to its adult or adolescent clientele. During treatment, family members are highly encouraged to attend 12 step meetings to better understand the disease of addiction and recovery.

Bradford Health Services of Clarksville also offers continuing care services to assist its clients upon program completion. Along with a referral to Bradford Health Services’ alumni association, these services include ongoing monitoring and contact and referrals to community-based resources.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Providing maximum five-star ratings for family participation, counseling options, and the staff’s level of training and experience, the sole alum polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing indicated that the treatment program was highly effective. However, this anonymous alum provided poor ratings for accommodations, affordability, and the inclusion of holistic offerings, which reflects the program’s strong foundation in 12-Step. Reporting seven years of sobriety, the anonymous alum told Best-rehabs.com that the program really made a difference. “All the counselors are prior addicts so they understand,” they claimed.
