ABOUT PROVIDENCE DEPAUL CLINIC
The Providence DePaul Clinic is one of The Providence Health Alliance’s state-licensed and CARF-accredited psychiatric and substance abuse facilities located in Waco, Texas. It offers specialized programming for children, adolescents, and seniors, and provides detox services on-site, which is a unique feature compared to other non-hospital treatment centers in the state.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The clinic provides partial hospitalization (PHP) and short-term inpatient programs for individuals with acute psychiatric or substance abuse concerns. Additionally, there is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) specifically designed for seniors. Treatment approaches include coping skills workshops, counseling sessions, recreational therapy, pharmacological intervention, medication management, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The facility also offers support groups, community educational programs, and referrals to other resources as necessary.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The clinic has a team of four board-certified psychiatric physicians. The staff undergo continuing education to meet the state’s requirements for substance abuse treatment facilities.
