Capstone Treatment Center is a faith-based drug and alcohol rehab facility specifically designed for adolescent and young adult males. Located in Searcy, Arkansas, Capstone focuses on addressing not only addiction, but also the underlying psychological, emotional, relational, and spiritual issues that contribute to substance abuse. Our treatment approach is centered around Christian values.
ABOUT CAPSTONE TREATMENT CENTER
Capstone Treatment Center offers gender-specific residential addiction treatment for males between the ages of 13 and 25. Our facility, situated in a remote rural area six miles northwest of Searcy, provides comprehensive treatment for a wide range of substance abuse problems, as well as other addictions such as sex, pornography, and video games. We also offer treatment for co-occurring disorders including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Capstone Treatment Center has developed a unique treatment approach known as The Core Model, which aims to target barriers to intimacy with oneself, God, and loved ones. Please note that medical detox is not available on-site. Treatment typically lasts approximately 90 days and combines the principles of the 12-step program with individual therapy, family therapy, and addiction education.
A notable feature of our program is our canine therapy, where each resident receives a puppy to care for throughout their treatment. Upon successful completion of the program, individuals are allowed to take the puppy home with them.
Family involvement is an essential part of our treatment approach. We offer a family week once per month, during which parents participate in intensive therapy and connect with other parents. Additionally, there is a focus on siblings in the later stages of treatment, and before graduation, there is a family retreat.
After completing the residential program, clients continue to receive aftercare services in the form of weekly counseling sessions.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The treatment team at Capstone includes licensed professional counselors and therapists who hold Master’s degrees and PhDs. In addition, we have an on-site chef and nutrition consultant to support the overall well-being of our clients. All members of our staff practice Christianity.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Capstone’s main building is a 4,000-square-foot lodge made of rock and cedar, nestled in a secluded wooded area. Residents are grouped by age and sleep in shared cabins that are closely monitored. The cabins have front porches and private showers.
Our facility also offers an on-site fitness room and a communal mess hall. Outdoor activities, such as ropes courses, take advantage of the surrounding wilderness. For younger clients, we provide educational support through an education coordinator.
