The Betty Ford Center, located in Rancho Mirage, California, has been providing top-quality addiction treatment services since 1982. In February 2015, we expanded our services with the opening of an outpatient center in West Los Angeles. This expansion allows us to offer a full range of services based on the 12 Steps, including assessment and evaluation, residential, detox, IOP, mental health, day treatment, outpatient, and sober living housing. We also specialize in treatment for professionals, young adults, and individuals suffering from chronic pain. Furthermore, we offer prevention and education programs for families and children. Our Outpatient Center operates Monday through Friday, providing day treatment, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and continuing care services. We are pleased to announce that insurance options are now available at the Betty Ford Center, making treatment more affordable for our patients. Our goal is to provide care where and when it is needed. In addition, we accept major insurance plans, ensuring that our services are accessible to a wide range of individuals. The Betty Ford Center is a part of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the largest nonprofit treatment provider in the nation. With a total of 16 sites across multiple states, the Foundation offers prevention and recovery solutions nationwide, helping individuals of all ages overcome addiction and reclaim their lives. Our addiction treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs, and the length of stay varies accordingly.
ABOUT BETTY FORD CENTER — LOS ANGELES
With the 2014 merger of Hazelden and the Betty Ford Center, two prominent names in addiction treatment, we now have a network of 15 residential and outpatient facilities. Our West Los Angeles center, opened in 2015, offers outpatient care for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Additionally, we provide mental health services for the general community and have dedicated services for the LGBT population.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Hazelden Betty Ford’s treatment programs combine the 12-step model with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Our clients also receive life skills training and participate in alternative therapies like meditation and yoga. For families, we offer a weekly family program.
Our Outpatient Center provides treatment at various intensities, including a partial hospitalization program (day treatment), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), general outpatient treatment, and a continuing care program. The PHP is recommended for individuals with a history of relapse or mental health issues. It meets five days a week and offers 20 to 26 hours of programming per week. The IOP involves nine to 12 hours of programming per week. We also have an opioid addiction program that incorporates Suboxone and other therapies.
Continuing care includes weekly group therapy sessions, as well as aftercare provisions like social networks and apps, family guidance and support, telephone or online recovery coaching, and monitoring and accountability.
