ABOUT GARDNER HEALTH SERVICES – PROYECTO PRIMAVERA

Established for over fifty years, Gardner Health Services has been a leading provider of healthcare in San Jose, California. Our organization specializes in adult outpatient substance abuse treatment for individuals facing chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Our services are offered in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese to better serve our diverse community.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Admission to our program requires individuals to first undergo an assessment. Once assessed, clients are then referred to an appropriate course of treatment. It is important for clients to be stabilized before receiving any services. The length of treatment is tailored to each individual, and our clients receive personalized support through one-on-one sessions as well as group therapy. Treatment sessions are available from Monday to Saturday.

Although the specific treatment model is not explicitly stated, our facility offers tracks designed specifically for individuals with a history of drug offenses. Our Deferred Entry of Judgement (DEJ) program, for non-violent drug offenders, offers rehabilitation services as an alternative to incarceration. Individuals who qualify for this program must complete 24 hours of counseling and education sessions. Additionally, our facility operates the Drinking Driver Program (DDP) which combines classroom education, screening, and evaluation to help clients understand the consequences of driving while intoxicated.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Our treatment is delivered by a team of multicultural staff who are certified by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Services of Santa Clarita County.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

We value the feedback from our alumni, and while Best-rehabs.com has not received any reviews from former clients, we have received ratings from 15 alumni on Yelp, with an average rating of 3.79 out of five stars.[1] Among the feedback provided, the most common complaints include the wait time for the initial appointment and the amount of paperwork required. For example, Evelyn stated in her one-star review, “On my opinion they shouldn’t give so many appointments to so many people on the same day at close times…And to make it worst they never answer the phone.”

However, the majority of alumni had positive experiences and commended our program. Marile wrote, “Gardner is excellent in having qualified well-trained therapists who are also sensitive as people. I need that combination for continued emotional healing.” Alyssa also shared, “…all the nurses were really friendly and easy to deal with. the girl who did my intake was cool and made me feel at ease. we joked around; she was chill.”

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY
