ABOUT HARMONY PLACE
Located on a leafy residential street in the affluent neighborhood of Woodland Hills, northwest of Los Angeles, Harmony Place provides residential treatment to adults struggling with substance use disorders. The rehab is one of 200 non-hospital facilities in California to provide medically monitored detox services (including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opiate dependence), which make up just 14% of all facilities in the state. Outpatient programs, transitional living, and other aftercare options are also offered.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Harmony Place prides itself on offering extensive individual counseling (three sessions a week), a range of evidence-based therapies, a select offering of holistic treatments, and 12-step facilitation. Most residential stays last 30 days.
In addition to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), a modality utilized by 47% of all treatment facilities in California, treatment practices include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodrama, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and motivational enhancement therapy (MET). Holistic activities include chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, equine therapy, massage therapy, and yoga. There is also specialized pain management course for individuals dealing with chronic pain, as well as groups for clients struggling with co-occurring disorders.
Outpatient options, which are offered at a nearby facility, include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and general outpatient care (OP). Clients may couple these programs with Harmony Place’s transitional living services. Once they complete treatment, clients can participate in weekly alumni meetings facilitated by a therapist.

WHAT STAFF SAY
