Admissions to Harsha Behavioral Center begins with a phone call. Throughout treatment, clients may receive individual, family and group therapy, as well as inter-agency consultations, crisis intervention, discharge and referral planning, nutritional counseling, and 24-hour nursing care. Clients at Harsha Behavioral Center may receive medication as part of their stay. Families are included in the treatment program through treatment planning meetings, family seminars, multi-family group work, and educational opportunities. Harsha also offers unique treatment opportunities such as a music class, pet therapy, and a sensory room.


The clinical team at Harsha Behavioral Center includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, medical doctors, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, a family nurse practitioner, mental health technicians, and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

When asked about strengths of the facility, the two loved ones commented on the counseling available at the facility, and said “they are good at what they do.” Neither reviewer mentioned any weaknesses when asked what Harsha Behavioral Center could do to improve.
