ABOUT OPTIONS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL
Located in Indianapolis, Ind., Options Behavioral Health Hospital provides a wide range of services for people of all ages who are struggling with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders. The treatment center offers residential treatment, detox, and partial hospitalization programs.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to the facility’s website, Options Behavioral Health Hospital offers medically monitored detox for clients who need to wean themselves from substance abuse. Individuals usually stay in detox for five to 10 days.
The Adult Acute Inpatient Treatment Program is for adults between 18 and 64 who are struggling with mental, behavioral, psychiatric disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders. Clients who are diagnosed with a mental illness and have problems with substance abuse are treated in the dual diagnosis program.
The Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Program is designed for people ages 11 to 18 who are struggling with substance abuse and/or have co-occurring mental health disorders.
Clients in the inpatient treatment programs typically stay for three to 21 days. The treatment center utilizes multiple approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC).
Treatment plans typically include crisis intervention, medication evaluation, psychiatric stabilization, recreational therapy, group therapy, individualized therapy, family therapy, mental health skills development, problem-solving approaches, and conflict resolution.
Programming also includes medication management, psychiatric care, chronic pain management, and nursing care. Teens in treatment receive instruction at the center’s on-site school.
At the end of treatment, Options provides a complete discharge plan for each client.
The partial hospitalization program is for men and women 18 and older. Group therapy is the primary treatment modality in the PHP. Programming also includes individual therapy, and interventions. PHP is offered Monday through Friday.
The Generations Program is a short-term senior adult inpatient program for adults 55 and older.

There are 28 beds available for the Adolescent Residential Mental Health Program.
