ABOUT MULBERRY CENTER

Located in the medical hub of Evansville, Indiana, the Mulberry Center is a component of the Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare nonprofit organization. It offers residential treatment and a variety of outpatient counseling options addressing issues ranging from child bullying to adult substance abuse. The Mulberry Center is particularly well-suited for employer-mandated treatment. Priority is given to women, pregnant women, women with children, and IV drug users.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Residential treatment typically lasts for a period of 21 to 28 days. It includes classes, group and individual therapy sessions, on-site and community-based 12-Step meetings, as well as family therapy and education.

The Mulberry Center also offers outpatient options. These include a 12-step-based program for patients transitioning out of residential treatment, as well as an Intensive Outpatient program consisting of three weekly meetings over an eight week period. The program incorporates treatment approaches such as Matrix, Seeking Safety, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the 12-step model.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The treatment team at the Mulberry Center consists of six therapists, including two licensed clinical addiction counselors and four licensed clinical social workers. They provide treatment for both children and adults.

FINANCING

Pricing information is not posted on the facility’s website. As part of the Southwestern Healthcare Network, the Mulberry Center accepts most insurance policies and offers self-payment options.
