TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Upon admission into the intensive outpatient program, clients may participate in an initial substance abuse and psychological assessment to ensure the facility’s outpatient level of care is appropriate. In addition, clients may attend education classes and training on coping skills, trigger avoidance techniques, stress management, and other proven-effective methods to prevent relapse. Typically, intensive outpatient programs typically involve individuals attending three weekly sessions.

In addition to programming focused on chemical dependency, individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders may also attend specialized groups on specific disorders, such as anxiety or depression.
