ABOUT PASADENA RECOVERY CENTER Founded in 2000 and located in the foothills just north of Los Angeles, the Pasadena Recovery Center is a substance abuse treatment center offering inpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and traditional outpatient programs (OP) for adults. The facility also offers on-site detox services and dual diagnosis treatment. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT Pasadena Recovery Center’s detox center offers 24-hour medical supervision and medication management for clients undergoing detox. Detox treatment is specified for alcohol and opioid addictions, and clients begin individual therapy during the process. Following detox, inpatient treatment is an individualized, comprehensive 12-step treatment program. Treatment consists of individual and group therapy, as well as relapse prevention services, life skills training, and trauma therapy. Individuals and families are encouraged to work together to create a suitable home recovery environment. Group topics include anger management, grief, and loss. Along with traditional treatment approaches, clients also participate in a range of alternative activities, including yoga, acupuncture, massages, music therapy, nature walks, and participating in a softball league. IOP treatment occurs three days per week and includes individual and group therapy. OP treatment includes five or fewer hours of clinical treatment per week and addresses topics such as family communication, anxiety, and relapse prevention. Clients are generally recommended to progress from detox to inpatient care to outpatient treatment during early recovery, depending on their recovery needs. PRC was a great place. I now have 19 months sober because of them. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new way to live and recovery from addiction. Professional staff, incredible treatment. I now live in their sober living.
Pasadena Recovery Center saved my brothers life. They are compassionate and have a great staff.
This place is solid. A ton of my friends are sober because of Pasadena Recovery Center's program. I'm sober also. Thanks PRC.
This is a really good place. Thanks to PRC I was able to get sober. Their counselors are incredible and staff super compassionate.
Pasadena Recovery Center saved my life. Three years ago, they gave me an opportunity to get sober. And I’m still sober today. Their staff, clinical team, and support staff made all the difference. I’ve been to probably 6-7 rehabs over the past 11 years, this time it stuck. Thank you PRC for being such an awesome place. I’m grateful to be an alumni.
