TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
An initial assessment helps determine each client’s individualized continuum of care and duration of treatment. Length of stay typically ranges between 30 and 90 days.
Designed within the framework of the 12-Steps, Wildwood Recovery’s treatment plan features individual and group counseling, addiction education, and a range of holistic and creative therapies such as yoga, guided meditation, visual art therapy, equine therapy, and pottery classes. Staff members accompany clients to off-site 12-step meetings.
Wildwood encourages families to participate in treatment with weekly family nights. Loved ones may also take part in addiction education, guidance, and encouragement programs. Family and marriage counseling sessions can also be arranged.
Upon completion of residential services, alumni are invited to attend monthly follow-up appointments on-site to help keep them on track of their recovery goals. Medical care is provided by a father/daughter team of MDs, both of whom are board-certified in addiction medicine. The facility also employs licensed marriage and family therapists, certified addiction counselors, and yoga and meditation instructors.

This facility maintains an intimate environment by accommodating only six residents at a time. The sprawling grounds feature wildflowers, majestic oak trees, valley views, and trails for hiking, reflection, and exploration. Clients also enjoy private or shared rooms in a well-furnished, spacious facility with a homely feel.

Still, Jill added: “This place was a serious stress relief. I needed a place to go and just not think about the whys and hows. I just needed to go and sit and be and be guided. It was every thing they promised and then some. The counselors are the best in the business. Loving, kind, humbled, supportive.” When asked if she would recommend Wildwood Jill gave the facility a perfect five-star rating.
