ABOUT BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN RECOVERY CENTER
Located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Georgia, Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center provides residential treatment for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Program graduates receive continuing care, and medically managed detox is available for those who require it. Duration of treatment varies, but most clients remain on-site for 35 to 45 days.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon each client’s admission, staff conduct a comprehensive evaluation to create an individualized treatment plan. Those who require medical attention for withdrawal symptoms begin their stay in detox. Once stabilized, they transition to the center’s residential program, which is grounded in the 12-Steps.
Clients divide their days between individual therapy, process groups, educational lectures, relapse prevention work, discussions on spirituality, and recreational activities. Residents attend both on- and off-site recovery meetings. All program graduates leave with a continuing care plan, and a relapse recovery program is available for those who need it.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
According to the facility’s website, the staff is led by a medical director and includes a psychiatrist, licensed nurses, licensed professional counselors, certified addiction counselors, therapists, and a certified personal trainer.
