ABOUT CARING SERVICES, INC.
Located in High Point, N.C., Caring Services, Inc. is a dedicated agency that aims to assist individuals and families affected by addiction. As one of the 194 private nonprofit substance abuse treatment facilities in the state, our organization offers outpatient programs, transitional housing, and family education. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
In order to be eligible for treatment at Caring Services, prospective clients must fulfill basic admissions criteria. These criteria include having a primary substance abuse disorder, being medically stable, and being physically and emotionally committed to achieving self-sufficiency.
Following an initial assessment, clients at Caring Services are typically enrolled in either the intensive outpatient program (IOP) or the standard outpatient program (OP). IOP clients attend three to five sessions per week, which are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During the initial three weeks of treatment, IOP clients are strongly encouraged to participate in programming on a daily basis.
Sessions encompass individual and family counseling, as well as guidance in relapse prevention and relevant life skills. These skills are deemed essential for successful independent living. The typical length of stay for IOP clients is nine to 12 weeks.
For individuals who require treatment while remaining fully engaged in their work and personal lives, the OP may be the more suitable option. At Caring Services, counselors utilize various therapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and anger management. Clients have the option to stay in the OP for up to one year.
In collaboration with the Veteran’s Administration, Caring Services works to provide substance abuse treatment and secure housing for homeless veterans. The Vet Safety Net program, with a duration of six months to one year, has been established to address this need.

Caring Services, Inc. holds accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our professional team comprises certified substance abuse counselors (CSACs), licensed clinical social workers, administrative and logistics coordinators, and program managers.

Caring Services, Inc. offers transitional housing at 11 different locations, all conveniently situated within walking distance from the main treatment center. Individuals of all genders can stay for up to 24 months in these safe and structured living environments.
