Dartmouth-Hitchcock is an agency based in Lebanon, N.H. that offers a regional directory of treatment programs and support groups to residents of the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The ATP at DHMC provides state-of-the-art evaluation, treatment, and referral services for individuals seeking help for substance use and related disorders. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a comprehensive evaluation, co-occurring mental health disorder treatment, psychiatric evaluation, and psychopharmacology.
Evaluations and IOP offerings are available in the mornings and afternoons from Monday to Thursday, and can typically be accessed without a patient referral. After assessment, patients participate in group and individual therapy sessions. Treatment includes motivational, behavioral, relapse prevention, and the 12-Steps. Group therapy is available throughout the day, including evenings, and individual treatment sessions can be scheduled.
The ATP also provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine for patients with opioid use disorders.
