ABOUT CONCORD METRO TREATMENT CENTER
Located in the community of Concord, N.H., Concord Metro Treatment Center is one of 68 private treatment facilities operated by New Season, a nationwide treatment provider. Concord Metro Treatment Center specializes in providing outpatient services for adults recovering from opioid addiction. Treatment utilizes a combination of medication-assisted therapy and counseling.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The facility’s primary treatment approach is its medication-assisted treatment (MAT) regimen, which utilizes either methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone. Medications are discussed with a doctor to determine which is the most effective for each client. Along with MAT, clients also participate in a weekly schedule of individual, family, and group counseling sessions to help clients understand the nature of addiction and triggers, and develop long-lasting recovery plans.
In order to start treatment, clients must be in withdrawal. During an initial assessment, a custom treatment plan is determined by a physician-led team. There are two phases of treatment through New Season: introduction and maintenance. During the introduction phase, in the first few weeks, clients frequently meet with their counselors and their medication is regularly monitored to ensure stabilization. In the maintenance phase, a steady state of medication is achieved and patients work to heal past issues and further their goals. This phase focuses on developing work, relationships, and well-being.
